History


Over the last 20 years, the HKFSTA has contributed substantially to the promotion and development of food science and technology in both concept and practice, by providing scientific and technical information to the food science and technology community as well as the general public and, and make alliance with other international professional food associations such as the Institute of Food Technologists (IFT) and the Chinese Institute of Food Science and Technology (CIFST) etc.

 

Aims


HKFSTA aims to provide networks between local and international scientific and technological institutions, industries and government for identification of food professionals for public knowledge and awareness of import issues relating to the supply, production, safety and quality of food and attracting economic development.
